Africa, it is our time.

These words carry the weight of a generation standing at the edge of emergence. Africa has endured long seasons of suffering, but the womb of the continent has been opened. God has looked upon us with compassion, and something He conceived long ago is crying to be born.
But when a womb opens, there is a battle over what will emerge. The enemy has fought to corrupt the womb of time, to silence sons and daughters and sabotage the systems through which God's purposes should manifest. Yet this is not the season to keep talking about the day that is coming. We must become the people who manifest the day.
Before I formed you in the womb I knew you; before you were born I sanctified you...

Before God formed us, He knew us. Before Africa became what the world sees, God knew what He intended her to become. Before Kenya was formed, heaven knew her purpose. Our identity is not accidental. There is an original blueprint, and sometimes rebuilding begins by returning to what God intended from the beginning.
But the womb can be open and the child can still refuse to come forth.
When the time comes, you must push. God is raising spiritual midwives for this moment, but the child must also understand its role. We cannot sit in the atmosphere of prophecy and remain unchanged. Kenya was not raised merely to be another nation. She was positioned at the gate. The fire was not only for speaking in tongues; it was for receiving the intelligence to understand what God is doing and the courage to respond.
And perhaps our brokenness is calling us back to the table - not tables of political allegiance and division, but tables where we remember that the blood of Christ is greater than our differences. The birthing of a new Africa will require a collaborative push.
Then comes maturity. There is a moment when prophecy meets decision. Esau and Jacob remind us that inheritance is not only about what was spoken; it is also about the choices we make. Do you respect the prophecy over your life enough to protect it with your decisions?
Esther's moment came, and she had to arise. Perhaps ours has too. We are standing at the days of Peniel, the place of wrestling, contending and refusing to let go until a new day is born. Africa must contend. Kenya must contend. We must wrestle in prayer, in purpose and in obedience until what God has spoken becomes what we live.
Because the tragedy would be to build and never enjoy the blessing. Africa, the womb is open. The time is here.
Push. Emerge. Become what God saw before He formed you.
