Architecture of the Spirit - Apostle Michael Orokpo

The divine project focuses on several interconnected infrastructures, beginning with the individual spirit. The journey starts as a child of God who may lack understanding, but the ultimate goal is to become a son who embodies the image of the Father. Until sons emerge in the market and government, the building enterprise continues, for only sons can truly conduct kingdom business.

Beyond the individual, God is building the Church corporately as His body, founded upon the revelation of Christ the rock against which the gates of hell cannot prevail. Simultaneously, nations are viewed as projects in God's hand, destined to come under divine government to execute agendas that can only be fulfilled at a national scale. When men, churches and nations align under this authority, a spiritual city known as Zion is built, allowing the full weight of glory to appear.

The motivation behind this building project is deeply rooted in the desire for habitation. God seeks a dwelling place outside of Himself where He can live in His fullness. Often, the difficult processes or chiselling that believers face are ways of clearing space, removing fear or a lack of compassion, to create a residency for divine power and wisdom. Furthermore, God builds to facilitate a manifestation of His glory that the earth has not yet witnessed, documenting dimensions of His nature through the lives of His people.

Just as carriers of divine wisdom like Joseph and Daniel could teach senators wisdom and judge earthly kings, God is raising representatives who can access celestial thrones to solve natural problems. These individuals serve as watchmen who insist on the value systems of heaven - truth, righteousness and mercy - within the ecosystems of media, economy and government. In a world where values are often perverted, men are being built to stand at the gates and ensure that only the culture of heaven predominates. The ultimate end of this construction is to achieve the eternal purpose of total oneness and harmony between the Creator and humanity.

To carry the weight of this glory, the building must adhere to divine patterns. Just as individuals in scripture had to be broken to rule as princes, God may subject a believer to a pathway of death or excavation to ensure their life is consistent with the celestial blueprint. The only permissible foundation for this work is Christ, understood through several essential layers: recognising Him as God the Son, as the pattern man who models holy living and authority over darkness, and as the firstborn who shares His righteousness, His faith and His eternal life with the believer.
